Rich Klein, president of Rich Klein Crisis Management (formerly LawFirmsPR), is a media relations/crisis communications consultant with 30 years of experience in public relations and journalism.
Klein has advised companies, colleges, law firms and non-profits since the early 1990’s on media relations, crisis/litigation communications, reputation management and social media strategies.
He has spoken before local and state bar associations on these subjects and has written articles for the National Law Journal, PRWeek, The Mann Report, the New Jersey Law Journal, The Crisis Management Guidebook (PRNews) and Strategies, the magazine of the Legal Marketing Association. In addition, Klein has participated in a global podcast regarding online reputation and was the guest speaker for a Legal Marketing Association webinar on crisis communications and Web 2.0.
In June 2012, Klein launched The Crisis Show, a weekly Internet broadcast using Google Hangouts On Air that is seen simultaneously on YouTube. Find us on Google+ 
Klein’s blog, Rich Klein Crisis, deals with crisis/litigation communications and online/offline reputation management. He is also the founder of the Crisis Communications Network on Ning.com and is an active participant in all aspects of social media.
In 2010, he started Rich Social Media to advise organizations about how to use sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to build business. In 2009, he joined the Internet radio world with the launch of LawFirmsPR podcasts on Blog Talk Radio.

--During the late 1980‘s and early 1990‘s, held the top media relations positions at the Anti-Defamation League, the New York County Lawyers’ Association and Proskauer Rose LLP.

--Former sports reporter/editor at The Daily Freeman (Kingston, NY) and The Ithaca Journal, where Klein was part of team that won Best of Gannett, Sports Coverage, in 1985.
